A Word about the ACA and Generations of Faith

Dear Parishioners:

Thanks to the participation of 512 families and individuals as January 18, 2016, our parish exceeded its goal of $99,874 to the 2015 Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA).

The funds raised will support critically important ministries of our Diocese in Brooklyn and Queens including Catholic Charities, support for vocations, tuition assistance for Catholic education, Catholic Migration Services, chaplaincies, and faith formation, to name just a few. The amount raised above our goal will be directly toward our ongoing maintenance needs at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs.

Thank you once again for your support.

The 2016 Annual Catholic Appeal is being included in our parish’s participation in the new Generations of Faith capital campaign for this first year — which means we will not be soliciting for the Annual Catholic Appeal in 2016.  (The ACA will resume in 2017.)

Throughout January and February, we are providing more details about the Generations of Faith campaign, how we will benefit as a Catholic community, and how one can participate through a pledge.
