All faith communities are invited to a Queens-wide rally Sunday, March 5, 2017, to stand in solidarity as one borough. Queens Borough President Melinda Katz will be joined on the front steps of Queens Borough Hall (120-55 Queens Blvd., Kew Gardens) by faith and community leaders, immigrant advocates, elected officials, and Queens residents. Start time is 4 p.m. Join the rally to:
- Express pride in our diversity
- Take a stand against the recent upsurge in hate crimes in several cities
- Acknowledge those who currently fear for the futures of their families
