Merry Christmas from Bishop Sanchez

Dear Parishioners,

The joyful remembrance of Christmas, commemorating the birth of the Savior, creates opportunities for many special gatherings. Our annual traditions and the memories of Christmases past will fill our hearts.

The birth of Jesus – God dwelling among us – gave our fallen and sinful world the hope of redemption. It is a time for us to recognize God’s goodness to His beloved.

Our prayer this Advent and Christmas Season is that we await, with eagerness, the coming of Christ. He came among us – shared our human condition and gave of Himself to us without reserve.

Let the presence of Christ from our parish table be the extension of His love around your table and in your home. Let our concern for the poor be in appreciation of the many gifts we have received, and may the glow of the Christmas star radiate in our hearts long after our celebration is over.

May God bless you and your family during this season of joy.

Sincerely in Christ,

Most Rev. Paul R. Sanchez, D.D.
