Help Maintain the Ban on Surrogacy

The Catholic Action Network  of the New York State Catholic Conference asks you to tell your legislators to remove the language from the state budget proposal that would legalize commercial surrogacy. Governor Andrew Cuomo believes that the ban on surrogacy contracts, which was signed into law by his father in 1992, is  “antiquated” and “based on fear” and discriminatory. Please read about this legislation and urge your elected officials to remove this language from the budget and to oppose legislation to legalize commercial surrogacy. A pre-written email message is available to send to your state senator and state assembly member.
