On the Fridays of Lent at 7:30PM, the Passion as told through the eyes of Christ’s mother is the customary devotion said here at our church dedicated to the Queen of Martyrs. The first-person meditation by Mary, the Mother of Jesus, takes us deeper and deeper into Christ’s suffering for us. The congregation reads prayers and sings the Stabat Mater in between each station.
