In spite of a few challenges this year, the Taste of the World Food Festival on Sunday, March 8, drew a large crowd. Attendees were treated to the dishes of nearly three dozen local restaurants and bakeries, including newcomers La Rotisserie du Coin and Iavarone Brothers. In addition to the food, there were great raffle prizes — gift certificates to top restaurants and markets, baskets of wine, and the perennial favorite, a bag of Trader Joe’s groceries! This year, we were especially blessed with wonderful committee members and volunteers who signed up restaurants and picked up and served food at the individual tables, along with members of the Single Adults Group, the choir, the Stewardship Committee, and several Confirmation students. We would like to acknowledge all the establishments and our sponsors for their generosity and support of the parish. We encourage everyone to patronize these businesses whenever you can to show them we appreciate their participation.
