Summer Project 2024: Sidewalk Repair on Queens Boulevard

The much-anticipated sidewalk repair on Queens Boulevard is finally underway! Work began the week of June 3, 2024. As of June 11, new sidewalk was laid near the church ramp entrance and in front of the rectory steps. The next phase of the work is focusing on the curbside of the sidewalk, with minimal disruption to pedestrian traffic on Queens Boulevard.

For the latest updates…
Once more extensive work along Queens Boulevard commences, the sidewalk and ramp entrance will be inaccessible; this temporary closure would last for an estimated one or two Sundays. We do not have specific dates yet, but we will keep you updated on this webpage and through announcements in the bulletin and our Facebook page.

Should the ramp entrance be closed, all other entrances to the church, including the main doors on Ascan Avenue, will be open, and for Sunday Masses, ushers will be on hand to assist anyone who may need help.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this temporary inconvenience this summer.

We are also grateful for your generous contributions to the 2023 Annual Catholic Appeal, because the overage funds of $75,000 that were returned to our parish made this important repair work possible.

Please check back on this webpage for updates on this major repair project.
