The Order of St. Gregory the Great is one of the five Orders of Knighthood of the Holy See. This special honor is bestowed on Roman Catholic men and women in recognition of their personal service to the Holy See and to the Roman Catholic Church, through their unusual labors, their support of the Holy See, and their excellent examples set forth in their communities and their countries.

We extend our prayers and best wishes to Roger and his wife Ruby on this well-deserved honor. Roger has volunteered his time on many diocesan committees. In addition to the service that Roger has given to our own parish, he has brought his expertise to an array of  diocesan boards.
Roger will receive this honor at a ceremony at St. Joseph’s Co-Cathedral on Sunday, November 1 at 4 p.m. If interested in attending, please call the rectory.—Bishop Sanchez, Father Passenant, and Father Antonín
