A Gift Restored – Our Lady of Mount Carmel Statue

Fr. Passenant, assisted by seminarian Louis de Rohan Chabot, blessed the new statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in the Saints Chapel after 12:05PM Mass on October 31, 2024, the eve of All Saints Day. She joins the statues of St. Lorenzo Ruiz, Padre Pio, and Thérèse of Lisieux (the Little Flower of Jesus).

This statue of the patron saint of the Carmelite Order holds special significance. It was generously donated by a parishioner, Mary Ann Lyons, who passed away shortly after she gave the statue as a gift to our church. Deacon Daniel Garcia, OLQM’s maintenance manager, lovingly restored and repainted the statue.
