The need is great. This month we are taking two voluntary collections: On October 7/8 weekend, loose bills in the second collection will be for Puerto Rico devastated by Hurricane Maria. On October 14/15 weekend, loose bills in the second collection will be used to aid relief efforts for the Mexico earthquake.
On October 7/8 weekend we will also begin collecting specific Material Goods for Hurricane Maria relief. (Read Bishop DiMarzio’s letter below.) You can drop off any of the following items and leave them in the church vestibule so they can be picked up by Catholic Charities, which has arranged with JetBlue Airlines for the items to be flown to Puerto Rico.
