Season 2 of the ARISE Together in Christ program will take place during Lent. We encourage all parishioners to sign up and be part of the one of the faith-sharing groups that are forming here at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish.
Season 2’s first session is planned to begin the week of February 27.
Lenten Theme: Ongoing Conversion
There will be six faith-sharing sessions that invite us to “Change Our Hearts.” The first session reflects on the central call of Ash Wednesday to conversion. Over the next five sessions, we will explore the meaning of lifelong conversion through the great symbolic themes of the Lenten liturgy: being transfigured; following our thirst for God; living as children of the light; changing our hearts of stone to hearts of flesh. The concluding session leads us into Holy Week.
