St. John Vianney Novena and Masses: July 27 to August 4

The Most Reverend James Massa returned to our parish to celebrate Mass on August 2, and lead us in the seventh day of the novena. The parish choir performed and our altar servers were out in force to enhance this celebration with the diocese’s newest auxiliary bishop. Bishop Massa’s very first assignment as a priest was at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in 1986. Then on August 4, the official feast day of St. John Vianney, Father Nicholas Colalella, who was ordained as a Brooklyn Diocese priest in the class of 2015, celebrate the 12:05 Mass and lead us in the closing prayer of the novena.
