July 27–August 4
St. John Vianney Novena
Prayed at the 12:05PM Mass weekdays; after 11:15AM Mass Sunday
Newly ordained Father Andrew Tsui will celebrate the 11:15AM Mass on Sunday, July 31, 2022, as part of our annual novena to the patron saint of parish priests. The novena begins every year on July 27 and concludes on St. John Vianney’s feast day on August 4.
Father Andrew Tsui was newly ordained by Bishop Robert Brennan on June 4 and is currently assigned at St. Bartholomew parish in Elmhurst. He is the first native-born Chinese American priest in the Diocese of Brooklyn. After Mass, Father Andrew will lead us in the conclusion of the St. John Vianney Novena, and parishioners can receive a first blessing from Father Andrew.
As is our custom, we will ask members of the parish to select one of the seminarians of the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens and make him your prayer intention during the novena.
