Holy Thursday 2015

Holy Thursday–also known as Maundy Thursday–begins the Easter Triduum, the Holy Three Days.  It was celebrated with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper and the ritual of the washing of the feet, as Jesus washed the feet of the Apostles. Bishop Sanchez was the main celebrant; Fr. Cunningham said the homily; Fr. Antonin Kocurek washed the feet of some of the newest members of our church;  and Fr. Passenant carried the Blessed Sacrament in procession to the Repository. Mass was followed by a period of quiet adoration. Photos by Rosalind Chan
