Easter 2015
On the evening of Holy Saturday, the first moments of Easter included many celebrations: the lighting of the new fire and the Paschal candle, representing the Risen Lord; adult Baptisms and Confirmations; and the First Eucharist of Easter. Lighted candles were shared with the entire congregation at the Easter Vigil, and there were several readings in the dark before the lights in the church were turned on for the Mass of Resurrection. At all Easter Masses there was our renewal of baptismal vows and sprinkling with water. On Easter Sunday, the choir performed at the 11:30 a.m. Mass. Photos by Rosalind Chan
