Fr. Antonin gave the verbal blessing and a sprinkling of holy water on the dogs, cats, and bird present on October 4. Students from the Religious Education afternoon class came outside to the plaza to learn a lesson about St. Francis of Assisi and to pet some of the animals. It was, as always, a joyful occasion and a tradition in October at our parish. God bless all the animals, and the people who care for them.
