Consolation/Bereavement Ministry Marks Two Years of Service: June 30

The very first meeting of the parish bereavement support group was July 1, 2013. To mark the second anniversary, the group stepped outside of its usual monthly meeting format for a dinner together at Portofino Ristorante to share camaraderie and learnings from the past year. Being with others who understand is a powerful way of dealing with grief and loss. If you have the need, you are welcome to join the group at its twice monthly meetings, which are facilitated by Commissioned Lay Pastoral Leader, Yorke Mizelle.
