Stewardship Sunday 2025

At all of the Sunday Masses on October 18 and 19, some of your fellow parishioners will speak about the importance of being faithful stewards to our church. Stewardship reminds us that everything we have and enjoy in life is a gift from God, entrusted to us to nurture and share. It’s heart work to share our gifts generously and hard work, requiring a bit of sacrifice. We will ask each parishioner to prayerfully consider increasing their weekly offering by five dollars to help keep our parish financially strong and able to carry out our mission. This small step, taken collectively by many, would make a significant impact.

Stewardship also invites us to give from the heart by sharing our time and talents to keep our parish mission vibrant. Our Lady Queen of Martyrs offers opportunities to love and serve God by volunteering with our various ministries. Could you picture what the Christmas Eve or Easter Sunday Mass would be without our altar servers? Imagine these liturgies without a choir? These programs depend on volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering with your church in some capacity, please speak with our pastor after Mass or visit our volunteering page.

Stewardship is heart work
