On the Fifth Sunday of Lent, as we began Passiontide, Bishop Robert Brennan joined us at the 1PM Mass to commemorate persecuted and suffering Christians around the world who are bearing the cross right here in our own time. We were blessed to welcome him and to present a Marian icon of Our Lady of Help for Persecuted Christians, often associated with the papal charity Aid to the Church in Need. The Mass was concelebrated with Father Passenant, Bishop Sanchez, and Father Alex.
