Dear Parishioners,
Every dean in our diocese is appointed for a term. I was fortunate to serve as dean (vicar forane) of Queens North 6 beginning in 2019. My term concluded on May 31, 2026.
It was my pleasure to serve in this role for seven years, conferring with the pastors, principals, DREs, and youth ministers of the eight parishes in our deanery. During my tenure, we were asked to present diocesan initiatives, especially pertaining to parish consolidations.
With the conclusion of my term as vicar forane, Very Rev. Thomas Pettei, V. F., the pastor of Resurrection Ascension/Our Lady of the Angelus, has been appointed as my successor. Please pray for the success of his work.
