OLQM Trustee Now Known as “Sir” Roger Aguinaldo after Receiving Papal Honors

Roger Aguinaldo was formally recognized as a Knight in the Order of St. Gregory the Great during a vespers service at St. Joseph’s Co-Cathedral in Brooklyn. Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio bestowed the honor and presented Roger with an Official Vatican Document denoting the Order of St. Gregory Honor. Sir Roger and 48 others received the highest papal honors awarded by the Church to laypersons. Roger has excelled in answering the needs of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs parish, is a former Chairperson of the Diocesan Pastoral Council, and is a member of the Diocesan Investment Committee. Bishop Sanchez, our parish priests and others from the parish were present to celebrate with Sir Roger and his family.
